Ask A Question
The product of IPad’s have massively increase after it’s recent launch few months ago. There is already a massive cue of people wanting to buy this new Apple’s production. But there are still doubts on many people’s mind on what this product is all about other than being the bigger version of IPod touch. Looking at the positive factor it does have good pianos apps like digital pianos and keyboard pianos. It certainly looks very useful for music industry people but can it be as useful as that for general public like me?
I have seen IPad being used in TV programs for news and sports but other than that I have not seen it being used anywhere? Would you download softwares like Skype and MSN on IPad and use it as a phone? I don’t think anyone would (I might
p). You can’t even carry it in your pocket as it is big. Another negative point which I had to face is that the screen gets dirty too quickly and because sometimes you are all sweaty and stuff it will just absord the dirt in the screen.
One of my colleague recently told me that one of his mate had IPad too and he uses it to do his work on the way to his office on the train. My colleague told me his mate does his musical work and as soon as I heard musical I just knew I shouldn’t have wasted that much money in buying an IPad which will never come in good use for me. Now the idea I have just given about downloading Skype on IPad might actually be a good one as I can use Skype to chat to my friends and family in different countries, while I am travelling and also without having to worry about the phone bill. This is a great idea and I have already downloaded Skype on my IPad. I do regret spending so much money on IPad but then again I am going to be making full use of this product untill it goes bust.

Pleyer Pianos the oldest piano makers are planning of redesigning their new pianos. This piano makers has been around from 1757. It was founded by Ignace Pleyel who is a composer himself and after his death it was taken over by his son Camille. These pianos of very weird design and were smaller in size than the pianos we get these days. Unfortunately it is not doing so well as the Korean and Chinese piano companies have taken over most of the piano business these days. That is why Pleyel has now decided to bring in the new change by recreating a new shape and design to their pianos.
Apparently the new innovative designs will be more attractive to their target audiences and they are hoping to increase their sales from it. Pianos has maintained the similar type of shape for many years and Arnaud Marion the artistic director from Pleyel wants his team to build pianos in an artistic way to attract the eyes of the audience.
This is interesting, he also said that the sales has gone down from 70’s and 80’s by a mile. In 1980’s they used to sell over 40,000 pianos and now they are only selling up to 8,000 pianos each year. It is hard to find if this is because of the old designs they currently hold or because of the competition they are getting from Asian companies.
In this 21st century there are new technologies being introduced every year sometimes even every month, so it is very important to move head to head with these changes and adapt to it. New design changes in instruments have occurred for many years. Just look at the how shape of guitars, keyboard pianos, drums, violin and other instruments have changed from 10 to 20 years ago.
It is good that Pleyer are planning to do a new change, because it one of the recognisable companies in piano world. Many Pleyer resellers and fans are eargerly awaiting this change.
