Ask A Question
My Dad & I had a good laugh at this commercial the other day about this pill that claimed could help folks quit smoking, the sales pitch was 5 seconds long, the warning about how it could destroy your health, cause suicidal thoughts etc.. was about 5 minutes!
That was the funny thing, the sad thing is how these Pharmaceutical Co.’s are so profitable they can afford these 5 minute commercials to push this garbage while folks are struggling to afford health insurance.
But the really sad thing is how people are so defiant against any efforts in trying to make things right and provide help to those that need it.
Well as long as they can express their misinformed and misguided anger resulting from an inability to acknowledge or not understanding why the country is in this horrid condition is all that matters right? These hypocritical fools are the same people that accuse “B. Hussein O.” of being un-American, not doing anything to help anyone. They completely ignore the facts and reasons as to why the Country is in such bad shape, mocking the President and scapegoating him for these problems, when it’s the failed policies and practices of the past that they adamantly wish to perpetuate, that caused this mess. How much failure is needed for these folks to learn from these bad decisions and poor judgment calls?
Want a job?, move to India or China, that’s where W exported them to, and gave large corporations huge tax incentives for doing so. Is that American? National Security Hero?, who’s watch did 9/11 happen on and what’s the deal with a fruitless war where years later the words “Mission Accomplished” mean nothing? You say President Obama is a some kind of intellectual that doesn’t have the guts, will or strength to be our Commander in Chief?, who just sent 30,000 plus troops to try and finish a war that the last President failed to win? You say he’s all talk?, give one example of a fight or challenge he hasn’t took on.
You want less Government? Well if the Government continued to be as incompetent and ignorant as it’s been in the past, I wouldn’t blame you! Less Government?, how much more than a failed Auto, Mortgage and Banking Industry do you need to realize what less Government yields? The Auto Industry is decades behind implementing hybrid technology. Why?, because of greed. Why? because people had to have their big fuel hogging SUV’s and so that’s what they were produced. And whom does some of this fuel consumption money end up in the hands of?, terrorists. Vicious cycle wouldn’t you say folks? Your freedoms come at a price. Wake up.
So as we destroy natural resources, fund terrorism, wonder where the jobs are, and vomit hypocritical BS about the economy, be sure to mock and scapegoat the NEW President for trying to fix this mess. Your illogical thoughts and beliefs are pathetic, truly ignorant and cowardly.
I never witnessed such an honest and good willed effort to try to help as many people as possible while trying to get our Country back on track. And you know what else is not free?, fixing the failures of a previous lack of Government.
I think less than half of the people in this country need to wake up, that’s change we could all use!
God Bless America!

As many city managers are attempting to live through the central bank induced monetary calamity, services for those communities are on the block. Countless times we presume the services which our taxes deliver, and whether or not you know it, all those revenue taxes that you shell out are never going to these services. Those taxes take off to the secretive banks that hold the Federal Reserve central bank. The taxes that are utilized to uphold our state, region or city, are derivative from taxes that we shell out while living our lives.
An example would be the gas tax added to each gallon of gas we acquire. That cash is utilized to maintain the road and rail network. When people travel less, the income from gas taxes start to decline significantly. At some point we begin to have diminishing income. Such is the situation the moment the powers that be choose that dust suppression on our roads must be cut. Poor roads – less driving – less travel – less gas tax
The moment we steal a dollar from a resident that’s productive and spend it on a non constructive incident, that buck is consumed evermore. If we employ that dollar for a industrious event the dollar remains in the system to provide further taxes into the system all over again.
Now back to the Road Dust issue. If the officials in charge of making these decisions would seek a dust control product that may actually save money instead of simply moving from a real dust control product to valuable water, the long side of the equation would bring more to the bottom line of the balance sheet. So very often, perfectly intentioned people will make decisions based on displaced facts. It’s not automatically their mistake but it is their responsibility to defeat this incapability to calculate.
With regards to dust control and the cost of operations, if a bureaucrat deems it exceedingly costly to do an application of a quality dust control product, they might fall back on the more widespread yet less effective techniques of controlling dust. The first of these being the exploitation of water for keeping the dusty soil wet. This procedure while less costly for the primary treatment, requires numerous applications opposed to the one or two applications of the dust control product.
Once you add up the labor, fuel, time, equipment and other connected costs to deploying a water truck, you promptly understand that the water truck operations will| in time cost more against. the application of a respectable product. Therefore when your well intentioned official begins hacking at his annual finances, rather than keeping the driving school for the blind, because its politically proper, try giving him a class in road dust management and how to save costs.
